One of the things I love doing is taking pictures. I took a picture of an elm tree very similar to this and Kari absolutely loves it. My inspiration for this particular painting came from her love of the photo. I painted this for her if you looked carefully there is a message in the branches of the tree.
I promise I'm not just some stalker cousin! But I'm really excited to start seeing your paintings that kari raves about! Oh, and I forgot you were such an artist... you know since I used to "watch you guys in heaven" man I was one CRAZY child!
