“ABE”

Abraham Lincoln is one of my heroes. I’m so grateful we have men/women in this world that can stand up for thing’s that may not be popular, or that people may hate them for so we can enjoy our freedom. I can't remember when I painted this and it’s not one of my best but it’s one of my favorites.

The “SKULL FLOWERS”

I painted this painting this year. The flowers to me represent how I perceive the world. I think right now there is a lot of ugly in the world, which is disguised to be beautiful this is the meaning of the flowers. I think our morals of our country have started to slip; drugs sex and other harmful things have almost become common place. I think you can interpret it however you like this is the beauty of art. This is what I get out of this particular painting.

“HIKING”

Kari and I have started hiking this year. I didn’t realize how out of shape I was. After we hiked a short five miles we decided to hike another four miles to lake blanch. we were so tired by the time we got up to the lake that kari just wanted to lay there. I couldn't just lay there i had to take some pictures because it was so pretty. The hike was so worth it was beautiful up there. Here are two pictures of Lake Blanch.

PROUD OF MY GRANDPAS

I just love my grandpas they are both such great men. They have and have had so much influence in my life especially my creativeness.

This painting was done in 1977 as a gift to my mom and dad for christmas. They were coming down a canyon after their honeymoon and snapped a photo and asked if he could paint it for them. I love the contrasts in the painting. We always laughed at some of his paintings but truth be told they are all very good I have a great respect for his talent. I’m so grateful to know him he’s a great man.

Save me a spot next to your easel grandpa.
The bust of the Savior
My grandpa good bad is an amazing sculptor, among other things. My dad told me how he would be missing pieces to his model cars and my grand dad would just carve him a new piece. How impressive! Grandpa you work is wonderful, and beautiful

KARI'S TREE

One of the things I love doing is taking pictures. I took a picture of an elm tree very similar to this and Kari absolutely loves it. My inspiration for this particular painting came from her love of the photo. I painted this for her if you looked carefully there is a message in the branches of the tree.

“MEANINGLESS LIFE”

I’ve decided to share some insights into my art. So, for my first post I thought I would share this painting I did 2007 it’s called”Meaningless Life”. To me it’s a representation of how mundane my life seems at times. I feel as if we go through the motions in life we wake up, go to work, eat, sleep, rinse, than repeat the process. The robot is me; running from all my problems and trying to leave them in the dust evJustify Fullen though I know they are going to catch me in the end.
